Mai - Avatar The Last Airbender
I really wanted to draw something after having a huge artblock for a while, so I decided to draw Mai from Avatar the Last Airbender, because she's one of my favorite characters and I thought it would be fun to draw her! And I was right, I had a lot of fun making this artwork and I'm really proud of how it turned out. I hope you like it as well! :)
In this project I will show the end results, of course, but also my progress.

Some of the choices I made:
- I choose to give Mai golden jewelry, eventhough I think silver suits her more. I made this choice because Mai is from a royal family, so they probably don't want her to wear anything ''less'' than the best.
- I gave her a dragon tattoo,, because she's from the fire nation, eventhough she isn't a bender. She's also born in the Year of the Snake, hence the golden snake earring.
